The temple is built according to the South Indian style of Architecture. Ascending a flight of steps leads the devotees into the main entrance and to the main hall, this main hall leads to the Sanctum Sanctorum which includes the main idol and the udbhava murthy of Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.
Turning left after the main entrance gives the devotee a darshana of Lord Anjaneya. Next to that is the sanctum of the Uthsava Murthy and other Alwars.
Around the main sanctum is the prakara which is covered by a high roof. As the devotees move around the sanctum sanctorum, they are treated to idols of Lord Narasimha (on the pillars of the high roof) as they appear in present day Ahobilam.
Behind the sanctum sanctorum is situated the Kalyana Mandapam wherein Yagas and other rituals are held. At the end of the Kalyana Mandapam is the community kitchen where the Prasadams are prepared to be served to the devotees.
